Quantum technology, cybersecurity, and aerospace with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are emerging as three strategic pillars globally, shaping the future of economies, security, and defense, experts said at the event. The markets of these sectors are projected to reach hundreds of billions to trillions of USD over the next decade.
Quantum technology promises breakthroughs in computing, sensing, and ultra-secure communications. Cybersecurity has become an essential shield for digital infrastructure. Aerospace and UAVs are driving the growth of the space economy, modern defense, and advanced logistics.
As many countries and major tech corporations intensify investments in these fields, Vietnam is uniquely positioned to become a global player with a young workforce, vast application potential, and a significant market demand.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung said he hopes with their intelligence, dedication, and global connections, the three strategic innovation and technology expert networks will serve as an ‘extended arm,’ working hand in hand with the government, ministries, and businesses.
“These networks will help shape strategies and policies, and drive research, development, and the application of new technologies, to address major national challenges and turn ‘difficult problems’ into ‘great opportunities’ for the future. The government pledges to create the most favorable conditions for the networks to operate effectively and make practical contributions to national development,” said Mr. Dung.
As part of the launch, several key cooperation agreements were signed between NIC and the three member networks.
